The texts you'd send, if you had time.

Scheduled. On the way. Done. Then a thank-you with your review link. DumpTracker sends those for you, by text from your company's own number or by email. When the customer texts back, it lands in Messages with the job attached.

Core includes 500 texts a month, Pro 1,500, and Elite 3,000.

You're the answering service for every job you run.

The way it runs now

  • You text each customer from your own cell, one at a time.
  • Your driver doesn't know if the homeowner got the message.
  • Replies come to whoever sent the text, and get lost there.
  • A customer opts out and you have no record of it.
  • You mean to ask for a review after every job. You ask after almost none.

With DumpTracker

  • Updates go out on their own when the job changes.
  • The driver's On my way tap sends the text, with the street address.
  • Replies come into one Messages inbox on the company number.
  • STOP and START are handled for you.
  • After the last pickup, the customer gets your review link. Once per project.

What goes out, and when

From your number, in your name

Texts go out from a number registered to your company. Each one starts with your company name. Customers reply to the same number, and you see the whole thread in Messages.

  • Delivery and service times.
  • Driver on the way.
  • Service done.
  • Placement and site access.

You choose what each person gets

Set which updates go by email, which by text, and which not at all. Drivers choose their own. Office staff get email for new requests and field problems.

Ask for the review while the job is fresh

Put your Google review link in Settings once. When the last can on a project comes home, the customer gets a short thank-you with the link, by text and email. One ask per project, never while a can is still out.

  • Works with Google, Facebook, or Yelp review pages.
  • Customers can turn review requests off like any other update.
  • Leave the link blank and nothing is sent.

Honest wording

Arrival times are worded as estimates, because they are. Requests say the schedule doesn't change until you approve. Customers stop expecting things you didn't promise.

Questions operators ask

Do I need a new phone number?

You get a text number registered to your business. Texting from a business number in the US needs a one-time carrier registration (10DLC). DumpTracker walks you through it in Settings.

What if a text doesn't go through?

If a text fails, DumpTracker sends the same update by email.

Can I text a customer myself?

Yes. Open Messages, pick the customer, and send a text from the company number.

What do the texts say?

Short and plain. For example: "Your driver is on the way for the drop off at 455 E Maple St. The arrival time is an estimate."

Can it ask customers for reviews?

Yes. Add your review page link in Settings. After the last pickup on a project, the customer gets one thank-you with the link. If a can is still on site or work is still open, it waits.
